The Hudson Grist Mill, Saltillo

Saltillo's first photograph on this site is of a mill on the National Register of Historic Places. The picture shows the west side, the shed addition, and what is left of a Fitz steel water wheel. The Fitz Water Wheel Company of Hanover, Pennsylvania built overshot steel wheels for mills like this one into the twentieth century, long after most of the country had gone to turbines.
