Company Housing (HABS View 3)

Company town survey, view 3 — Company town survey, view 3Library of Congress HABS PA-2822 l14

The HABS surveyors walked every street of Mount Union's company housing, documenting row houses, duplexes, and family homes, all owned by the factory. This is the record of how industrial employers controlled the towns they created.

Checked against the record. Photograph citation corrected from an internal credit line to the Library of Congress record, so a reader can open it. The text on this page is descriptive and still carries no source of its own; that is the next pass, not this one.
